2023 Aki basho: Day 1 results and analysis

This morning I added my first day of results, analysis and highlights to my post on BloodyElbow.com, you can find that here (link).

This tournament got off to a bit of a bummer start before it got underway with both Terunofuji and Hakuoho being injured. I certainly hope we didn’t see another injury to a popular figure on Day 1.
