Day 1 of the Kyushu basho is a wrap and you can check out all the results, some highlights and my analysis here (link).
The ozeki match-ups were what I was most excited for on Day 1 with Takakeisho facing Hokutofuji (who made him look silly in September), Kirishima meeting Ura and Hoshoryu taking on Shodai.
