2024 Nagoya basho: Day 9 results and analysis

Hello all.

After a fantastic little vacation (in one of the few spots in Ontario where we have sandy beaches) I’m back home and eager to start covering the Nagoya basho.

I think it’s fair to say we’ve had a bit of a surprising tournament thus far. And we’ve had some great matches, too. Terunofuji vs. Ura on Day 8 is high on my list for bouts of the year …
