Papa Bear Takayasu looks to be having an off month, but Wakatakakage is right in the running. Ura vs Tobizaru was the match of the day! Onosato looks unstoppable. And I have to say I love Kayo's yellow mawashi.

Only been watching sumo since January of last year and now there's no going back! If I had to pick only one sport to watch the rest of my life it'd definitely be sumo. 15 awesome days every 2 months? Sign me up!

Hosh v takerufuji and Onosato v Hiradoumi tomorrow. Almost can't watch, they're all my boys! One of the biggest strengths sumo has over other combat sports is that you WILL see these awesome matchups. No watching years for them to meet in the ring.

I feel exactly the same way. That and the fact we get multiple match-ups, so we can analyze their head to heads and have a pretty clear idea over who is better.

Exactly! It's sometimes unfortunate when a fight ends quickly in something like mma and you don't get to learn much about the match up, or in the case of a fight like Aldo v McGregor where you get people thinking that a fighter isn't worth their salt because of one bad night. Granted it's usually very casual fans that think that but even a casual sumo fan will see these guys go at it over and over again, and have a more complete view of the rikishi.

It's nice to take Tim's analysis and rewatch the matches, then apply them to other ones

WEC Aldo is my fave fighter ever. I would have loved to see that one run back. No way lightning strikes twice for McGregor.
