You are absolutely right, unless he now wins every single bout he doesn’t stand a chance ! It also requires everyone else to start dropping, Kirishima is really ramped up! Atamifuji is not doing great, if he doesn’t get 8 wins does that mean he will go back to lower ranking?
Kotoshoho, just can’t be dismissed, no one last year paid him any attention until we suddenly thought oh he’s there !
If Atamifuji gets a losing record he will most likely lose his komusubi ranking. He might keep it only if everyone ranked in the bext three or four lower ranks also got losing records.
If I had more time, I would have written on that. I think the gyoji did Kotozakura a huge favor there, giving him a more secure grip after he tied the mawashi. I'm glad Wakatakakage won after that.
