He's must-see TV. I hope he's able to stick around in the makuuchi for a long time. I do worry that he may break down over time, that's a lot of violence for a little body to produce.
Hi hope everyone is enjoying week one? Well firstly , did anyone see Abi coming? I have been silently smiling to myself as Aonishiki is one down , but Mr Insufferable says top 2 are down and Kotazakura is 3- 3 now which I don’t really understand, because to me he looks really good on form organised and aggressive, we know he’s aiming for the top rank so it’s a mystery , Onosato looks like his shoulder is giving him quite a bit of Gip so how long he can manage ? I don’t feel Hoshoryu is at his best and he’s got injuries which are clearly hampering his situation, but I just don’t feel he’s up to it, he just looks relieved at the end of each bout , Mr Insufferable right or wrong is sticking with his prediction, thing is I don’t get it, he’s not interested in sumo , never watches it for more than couple seconds it’s a mystery to me? I am hoping for more exciting sumo over weekend and some driving forward and a few different techniques coming to the fore and last but not least Atamifuji well he’s doing ok beating Ura yesterday and Hiradoumi today, so keeping my fingers crossed!
